Resolution 2206 (Sudan and South Sudan) S/RES/2206

3 March 2015

On 3 March 2015 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2206 on the situations in Sudan and South Sudan. Resolution 2206 emphasizes the government of South Sudan bears the primary responsibility to protect its population from genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing.
