4 March 2010

The Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect published the following Policy Brief to discuss the ongoing risks to populations in Burma/Myanmar due to crimes perpetrated by the government’s armed forces (Tatmadaw). After giving an overview of the crimes being committed in Burma/Myanmar the policy brief applies the Responsibility to Protect lens to the situation and discusses how the international community has responded thus far, as well as policy options going forward.
