Sarah Hunter speaks on a panel entitled “Ceasefire and humanitarian crisis: understanding the Ethiopian peace process”

On 3 February Global Centre Horn of Africa Expert Sarah Hunter spoke on a panel regarding the ceasefire and ongoing human rights crisis in Ethiopia. The panel event was hosted by the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University. Sarah’s remarks focused on the human rights and humanitarian impact of the war in northern Ethiopia, the international community’s failure to adequately respond to the crisis and what more needs to be done to ensure an effective peace process.
