Resolutions S-18/1 (Syria) A/HRC/RES/S-18/1

2 December 2011

On 2 December 2011 the UN Human Rights Council passed Resolution S-18/1 on Syria at its 18th Special Session. Resolution S-18/1 condemns the continued widespread, systematic and gross violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms by the Syrian authorities and urges the government of Syria to meet its responsibility to protect its population.
