Resolution 77/226 (DPRK) A/RES/77/226

On 15 December 2022 the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 77/226 on the situation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Resolution 77/226 condemns the systematic, widespread and gross violations of human rights in the DPRK, including those that amount to crimes against humanity, encourages the UN Security Council to refer the situation to the International Criminal Court, and recalls the responsibility of the DPRK to protect its population from crimes against humanity.
