Resolution 49/27 (Syria) A/HRC/RES/49/27

1 April 2022

On 1 April the UN Human Rights Council adopted Resolution 49/27 on Syria. The resolution renewed the mandate of the Commission of Inquiry on Syria for one year, demanding that “the Syrian authorities meet their responsibility to protect the Syrian population.” The resolution was adopted by a vote of 23 in favor, 7 against and 16 abstentions
