Resolution 2444 (Somalia) S/RES/2444

14 November 2018

On 14 November 2018 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2444 on the situation in Somalia. Resolution 2444 recalls that the “[Federal Government of Somalia] has the primary responsibility to protect its population, and recognizing the Somali government’s responsibility, working with the [Federal Member States], to build the capacity of its own national security forces, as a matter of priority.”
