Resolution 2439 (DRC) S/RES/2439

30 October 2018

On 30 October 2018 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2439 on the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Resolution 2439 recalls that the “government of the DRC bears the primary responsibility to protect civilians within its territory and subject to its jurisdiction, including protection from crimes against humanity and war crimes.”
