Resolution 2348 (DRC) S/RES/2348

31 March 2017

On 31 March 2017 the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2348 on the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Resolution 2348 recalls the government of DRC bears the primary responsibility to protect its populations from atrocity crimes. Additionally Resolution 2348 extends the mandate of the UN Peacekeeping Mission in the DRC (MONUSCO), through March 2018.
