Resolution 2295 (Mali) S/RES/2295

29 June 2016

On 29 June 2016 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2295 on Mali. Resolution 2295 reminds the Malian authorities of their primary responsibility to protect civilians. Resolution 2295 also extends the mandate of the UN peacekeeping Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) until 29 June 2017 and increases the number of troops in the Mission.
