Resolution 2288 (Liberia) S/RES/2288

On 25 May 2016 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2288 welcoming the sustained reconstructive progress made by the government of Liberia reiterates the government’s primary responsibility to protect civilians. The UN Security Council also decided to lift arms restrictions on the country.
