Elisabeth Pramendorfer speaks on a panel regarding the key role of UN Human Rights Council mechanisms in Venezuela

On 26 September Global Centre Senior Human Rights Officer Elisabeth Pramendorfer delivered remarks at an event entitled, “The key role of UN Human Rights Council mechanisms in Venezuela: results relevance and renewal of the Fact-Finding Mission and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.” At the event, co-sponsored by Amnesty International and the International Service for Human Rights, Ms. Pramendorfer discussed how the mechanism has delivered insight to the crisis in Venezuela and urged member states to urgently renew the mechanism at the 51st session of the Human Rights Council.
