Resolution 35/33 (DRC) A/HRC/RES/35/33

On 23 June the UN Human Rights Council passed Resolution 35/33 on technical assistance to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The resolution calls on the government of the DRC to exercise maximum restraint with regard to responding to election-related protests. Additionally the resolution reminds the DRC government of its responsibility to protect populations and welcomes the establishment of joint investigations into the situations in the Kasaï provinces.
