Resolution 2393 (Syria) S/RES/2393

On 19 December 2020 the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2393 on the situation in Syria. The resolution renewed cross-border humanitarian aid routes for one year. Resolution 2392 also reaffirmed “the primary responsibility of the Syrian authorities to protect the population in Syria and, reiterating that parties to armed conflict must take all feasible steps to protect civilians.”
