Resolution 2387 (Central African Republic) S/RES/2387

15 November 2017

On 15 November the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2387 on the Central African Republic (CAR). The resolution extends the mandate of the UN peacekeeping force in CAR (MINUSCA) through 15 November 2018 and increases the troop ceiling by 900 personnel. The resolution also recalls the CAR authorities bear the primary responsibility to protect all populations in CAR.
