On 15 March 2021 Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect Executive Director, Dr. Simon Adams, was interviewed by BBC World regarding recent developments on the situation in Myanmar. Dr. Adams urged the international community to act on the situation in a multitude of ways, including sanctions, the removal of development aid and more. Dr. Adams also urged regional governments to take a more active role in addressing the crisis and discussed the need to refer the situation to the International Criminal Court.
