Progress report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar, Tomás Ojea Quintana A/HRC/19/67

The Special Rapporteur reports that the recent wave of reforms has had a positive impact on the situation of human rights in Myanmar, though ongoing and serious human rights concerns remain and need to be addressed, including attacks against civilian populations, extrajudicial killings, sexual violence, internal displacement, the use of human shields and forced labor, and the confiscation and destruction of property.
